Shivam graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2019 with a degree in Law with Chinese Law, having completed a study abroad program at the University of Hong Kong. Shivam completed the Legal Practice Course in 2021 achieving a distinction.
Shivam joined Osbornes in 2022 as a trainee solicitor, and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024 in the Medical Negligence team. His caseload is varied, and he enjoys the challenge of conducting claims across different areas of medicine. Shivam has a particular interest in acting for families at inquests and is able to advise on all aspects of fatal cases. He is also a member of Osbornes’ specialist inquest team.
Shivam also assists Jodi Newton, Partner, and Nicholas Leahy, Associate, in their high value and complex clinical negligence claims involving: neurological injuries; orthopaedic injuries; fatal accident claims; delays in diagnosis; and acting for claimants with catastrophic birth injuries.
Shivam is passionate about providing a high level of care to all clients. He appreciates that clients pursuing a clinical negligence claim are often going through extremely sensitive and distressing situations, and he strives to ensure that the legal process is made as smooth and stress-free as possible for his clients.
Shivam is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
