Josie is a Senior Associate at Osbornes Law, specialising in medical negligence litigation. She has over 20 year’s experience and prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2002, she was a Chartered Physiotherapist.
She has a particular interest in child brain injury caused by obstetric negligence and in gynaecological cases, representing a number of clients who have suffered life-changing physical and psychological injuries following negligent vaginal mesh surgery.
Josie has represented a number of bereaved families at inquest, where loved ones have lost their lives through negligent surgical care, delays in diagnoses of serious medical conditions by GPs, or in A & E and negligent mental health care. She has secured a number of 6 and 7-figure settlements in financial dependency claims.

Away from work, Josie enjoys Pilates and tennis, cooking and entertaining for family and friends and spending time in Italy whilst trying to learn Italian.
