Life changing injuries following motorbike accident

Our client, who is from Hungary was riding his motorbike in London when a lorry turned across a junction and hit him. The accident left our client with a severe brachial plexus injury resulting in the total loss of use of dominant right limb. Subsequently, his limb was amputated.
The client instructed Osbornes Law to help him make a claim for compensation and ensure he received the best possible medical care.
Kate Milton and Diana Magyar achieved a substantial financial award for the client after issuing High Court proceedings. Osbornes were also able to secure him a private prosthetic provision and intensive ongoing rehabilitation enabling him to learn how to use a bionic arm.
Our client commented, “I am so pleased with Osbornes Law and my legal team. I was very well looked after and they have really good connections with doctors and experts. No amount of money can ever compensate me for the life changing injuries I suffered, but I am very happy with the outcome”.
Legal advice in Hungarian
We know that dealing with a lawyer is daunting for anyone. This is especially true when English is not your first language and you have suffered such a serious injury. Our Hungarian speaking legal team are therefore crucial in answering all of your questions and explaining the process to you in Hungarian. If you do not speak English, your whole case will be conducted in Hungarian including all documents and letters we send to you.
What you can expect from your lawyer
The personal injury lawyers at Osbornes Law are recognised for specialising in helping individuals who have suffered very serious, life changing injuries.
Our lawyers work hard to make sure you are awarded with the maximum level of compensation. The amount of money you receive should cover any loss of earnings and expenses incurred due to your amputation. Other costs including your rehabilitation, suitable prosthesis and adaptations to your home and car will also be taken into account. Lastly, we ensure that you are compensated for the pain, suffering and side effects that you have endured because of your injury.
Amputation cases can be long and complex and therefore your lawyer’s objective will be to secure you with ‘early payments’ throughout your case, which will help ease the financial burden on you and your family.
In addition to the financial package our job is to also make sure you have access to the best medical care and therapy to aid in your rehabilitation.

“Kate has a fantastic manner with clients which, coupled with her keen eye for detail and excellent grasp of personal injury litigation, makes her a formidable litigator”.
“I had a road traffic accident in 2016 and Kate Milton didn’t just secure my very satisfactory settlement but also put everything in place to make sure my long recovery was made as easy and comfortable as possible. Kate was knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. I had total faith that she would deliver all my target outcomes both financially and physically. Hopefully, I won’t need Kate again but if I do, I’ll know who to call”.
“I cannot recommend Kate Milton highly enough. Over the course of 5 years, Kate was on hand to support and guide my wife through my case. Her experience and expertise meant we always had total trust in the advice we received. No amount of money can heal the injury I have sustained, however, the damages I received take the worries out of the future and mean I can get on with my life without having any ill feeling or regret.”
