Probate with assets worth between US$600m & US$800m

This probate case relates to a property in London which was funded by our clients, who are based in Australia and reported to be one of Australia’s wealthiest families, in the 1990s. For unclear reasons, they included the name of one of their children as a legal owner. There has subsequently been a spectacular falling out between parents and daughter following one of the largest trust cases ever heard in Singapore involving shares and assets worth between US$600 million and US$800 million.
The case also relates to repayment of a multi-million-pound loan made by parents to a daughter and is important to try and balance what each of the four children ultimately receive and in relation to the matrimonial dispute now ongoing between daughter and her husband.
