Joanne studied LLB Law at the University of Warwick and graduated with First Class Honours. Joanne obtained a distinction in her LPC at the College of Law in York and went on to join the CAFCASS graduate recruitment scheme, gaining an insight into Central Government agencies. She joined Osbornes Solicitors LLP as a paralegal in the Housing and Litigation team in June 2011 and has since successfully completed her training contract at the firm. She qualified as a Solicitor in September 2014.
Joanne specialises in property litigation including housing and social care law. Her practice covers disrepair, possession, homelessness, judicial review claims and landlord and tenant disputes. She is dedicated to helping her clients in a holistic and pragmatic manner, ensuring that their concerns and problems are listened to and addressed. Joanne has a varied workload and represents clients under public and private funding as well as on a no fee no win basis.
Joanne was born in Hong Kong and can speak conversational Cantonese. Outside of work Joanne takes an active role in her Church and loves (winning at) board games.
