Seeking Compensation

Road users who sustain injuries as a result of collisions with unlawfully ridden e-scooters are entitled to approach the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) to seek compensation for their injuries. The law classes private e-scooters ridden on public land as motor vehicles requiring insurance. Case Handling and Settlement

The MIB were persuaded to accept the case and compensate the pedestrian.
