Elspeth specialises in both contentious and non-contentious estate and Court of Protection matters and has particular experience in complex estate administrations, including those involving cross-border issues. Her experience extends across working on estates involving assets in various jurisdictions, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Uganda, United States and Uruguay.
Elspeth frequently advises individuals in connection with Wills, Personal Injury Trusts and Disabled Discretionary Trusts, and is regularly entrusted with politically sensitive estates. She has acted for various family members of the Grenfell fire victims and Hillsborough disaster victims.
Elspeth is able to accept appointments as a professional attorney and deputy. She is also a notary public and can assist individuals and corporate entities with the authentication of documents for use abroad.
Elspeth provides pro bono advice to a number of charities, including Age UK Camden and the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. She is happy to arrange workshops for charities and community centres, in and around, London.
She is a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society, and is an accredited member of ACTAS.
