Barry has specialised in personal injury claims since 1993, initially for one of the largest direct insurers in the country, giving him a particular insight and understanding of how insurers deal with claims. He has represented claimants exclusively since 1998.
Barry deals with all types of personal injury cases including fatal claims, brain injury and other injuries caused in road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public liability accidents, accidents abroad, occupiers liability cases and the victims of criminal acts via the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
Barry believes that the priority when initially instructed is to attempt to get his clients early rehabilitation where possible.

- Brain Injury CICA claim- £440,000
- Brain Injury claim – £4 million
- Brain Injury claim – £1.2 million
- Fractured Ankle injury – £250,000
- Loss of tip of thumb claim – £40,000
- Liability trial before HHJ Saffman and subsequently settled post successful liability trial.
- Arachnoid Cyst caused by trauma – £322,000
- Settled an Orthopaedic injury case for a Claimant with pre-existing learning difficulties. Approved by Master Eastman at over £700,000, who stated “I have no hesitation in approving the settlement reached in this complicated case”.
Barry is accredited and a member of The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Brain Injury Group (BIG).
He is the former Vice Chair of Headway Medway (brain injury charity) and is Company Secretary for Kent Brain Injury Forum (KBIF).
Outside of work Barry enjoys playing 5 aside football and keeping fit.
