A settlement for the family was obtained which provided the family with financial security for the future.

Car Park Accident Fatal Claim

Laura Swaine, an Associate at Osbornes Law settled a claim for a pedestrian who was knocked down in a car park by a reversing driver in excess of £260,000.

The Claimant was crossing the road with her friend when the Defendant accidentally reversed knocking into both the Claimant and her friend. The Claimant’s friend tragically died following the accident while the Claimant sustained life-changing injuries including a head injury, ongoing spinal injuries and severe psychological injuries. The Claimant came to Osbornes a year after the accident when it was clear her injuries were far worse than initially thought. Laura obtained privately funded treatment for the Claimant as the Defendant insurer was not willing to engage in any early rehabilitation.
