Acuerdo de £65,000 para un Ciclista Lesionado
Megan Lambert, paralegal de lesiones personales, hace poco llegó a un acuerdo de £65 000 en la reclamación de un ciclista. La clienta iba por el carril bici de camino a la Universidad, en paralelo a un coche, cuando el conductor del vehículo, de repente y sin poner el intermitente, giró a la izquierda para ir por una bocacalle y tiró a nuestra clienta de la bici, que impactó con la cara y los dientes en el capó del coche. El conductor declaró que no vio a nuestra clienta y siguió conduciendo.
Lesiones y Tratamiento
La ciclista se fracturó dos dientes, se laceró el labio superior, lo que le dejó algunas cicatrices, y le desencadenó un trastorno de estrés postraumático. Osbornes obtuvo informes médicos de cirugía plástica, psiquiatría y odontología que recomendaban que la clienta se sometiera a cirugía plástica, terapia para sus síntomas psiquiátricos y tratamientos dentales en el futuro.
Negociaciones y Acuerdo
A continuación, se llevaron a cabo las negociaciones y se llegó a un acuerdo para nuestra clienta de £65 000, que incluía una compensación para la cirugía, la terapia y los tratamientos dentales que necesitaría más adelante.
