The last week has seen serious allegations made against former DJ and friend of Jimmy Savile, Ray Teret and Magic FM DJ, Neil Fox.

Ray Teret, a former DJ on Radio Caroline, is facing more than 30 charges of sex abuse in his ongoing trial at Manchester Crown Court.

In one account given to the court on 7th October 2014, it is alleged that Mr Teret “delivered” a 15 year old girl to a flat, where Jimmy Savile raped her.  The victim told the court that after she had been raped by Jimmy Savile, Mr Teret raped her as well.  The trial is currently ongoing.

Meanwhile, Magic FM DJ Neil Fox, was arrested last week at the Magic FM studios in Soho, following four separate allegations of sexual assault made to the police. Mr Fox, who was a judge on Pop Idol over 10 years ago, has been released on bail.  It is not clear yet when the alleged assaults took place, although Police have confirmed that the arrest is not part of Operation Yewtree, the sex crimes investigation stemming from revelations about Jimmy Savile.
