Family lawyer Claire Andrews becomes the firm’s 21st partner, just six years after qualifying as a solicitor. The firm now has 11 female partners.
Head of medical negligence Stephanie Prior, private client partner Elspeth Neilson and family law partner Joanne Westcott are made equity partners. While existing equity partner Sophie Davies, who has been with the firm for 21 years, takes over from Stuart Kightley as head of the firm’s largest team, personal injury.
A further five female lawyers are promoted to senior associate, they are: Jodi Newton (medical negligence), Katie de Swarte (contentious probate), Maria Elliot (property), Maria Kitsiou (family) and Kate Milton (personal injury).
Commenting on the news, Managing Partner Stuart Kightley said;
“Well done to all those who have been promoted. Individually they have shown an incredible commitment to the firm. They each have a diverse range of skill sets and ideas, contributing to the success of their department and the firm as a whole. We wish them continued success and thank them for their hard work to date.
