Acuerdo de £75 000 para un ciclista

La aseguradora acepta la responsabilidad
Convencimos a la aseguradora del conductor de la camioneta para que aceptara la responsabilidad por el accidente y aceptó financiar una rehabilitación y un tratamiento privados para el ciclista. Andrew siguió los consejos de un asesor ortopédico y consiguió que la aseguradora financiara una cirugía para quitar la placa de metal de la cadera del ciclista, que, en principio, mejoró.
El ciclista necesita un reemplazo de cadera
Un experto en cirugía de cadera redactó un informe donde identificó una complicación grave y recomendó que se llevara a cabo un reemplazo de cadera. El cliente obtuvo financiación de la aseguradora para pagar un reemplazo total de cadera con cirugía robótica. La aseguradora también presentó una oferta para llegar a un acuerdo. Andrew contó con la experiencia de un barrister y nos reunimos con el ciclista para asesorarle de manera exhaustiva sobre el valor potencial de su reclamación con base en las escasas pruebas disponibles.
Acuerdo y consecuencias
Se llegó a un acuerdo y se consiguió una compensación por el dolor y el sufrimiento, las pérdidas financieras y los posibles costes de futuros tratamientos médicos privados. Esto hizo posible que el ciclista siguiera adelante con su vida.
